Hotel Reservation Procedure - 2008
Convention
We are making plans now for the Indiana Credit Union League’s 2008
Convention, which will be held September 25-27 at the Indiana Convention Center
in Indianapolis. As a method to maximize the efficiency with which hotel rooms
are reserved, we will be using a housing bureau once again this year.
Using the housing bureau, operated by the Indiana Convention and Visitors
Association (ICVA), is the only way Convention attendees will be able to make
reservations at Convention hotels. By centralizing our reservations process,
attendees will be assured access to rooms within the League housing blocks at
each of the Convention hotels.
As you register for your hotel rooms, there are three important things
you’ll want to remember:
- Registrations can be made by phone, fax, Internet or U.S. Mail – all
reservations will be made through the housing bureau. Hotels will not accept
calls to reserve blocked rooms.
- An early deadline will be in place again this year.
- Penalties will be in place for cancellations and changes after the
deadline.
Details including all contact information for the housing bureau are attached
and we have included a registration form for your convenience. You can use it to
register now via fax or U.S. Mail if you like.
Hotel reservations also can be
made via Internet and by calling the ICVA.
- 2008 Convention Hotels
- Embassy Suites Downtown
- Marriott Indianapolis Downtown
- Westin Indianapolis Downtown
The League has negotiated favorable rates with each of these hotels. As has
always been the case, this favorable pricing is not available to the general
public.
NOTE: Convention registration is completely separate from hotel
registration. All information contained here relates only to hotel reservations. |
