Sponsors are a cornerstone of the Convention every year. Several have already made commitments to make this year's convention the best ever, including our Premier Sponsor Members United Corporate FCU, and we have room to add more to the event. Because of our sponsors, registered guests can attend as many of our scheduled events as they like. We begin with the Grand Opening of the Exhibit Hall, which is always well attended. This gives our guests the opportunity to meet representatives of their favorite companies and their friends from the credit union business along with the new faces that are part of Convention.
In the Exhibit Hall, attendees will be served refreshments on opening night, along with breakfast and lunch on Friday as part of their registration fee. Each meal is available for sponsorship—you can put your company name on one or more of these meals as a Platinum or Bronze sponsor.
Our popular Credit Union Casino event will be combined this year with the ever-popular and well-attended Dessert Reception, making it THE place to be on Friday night. Each portion of the event is available for sponsorship, with American Share Insurance stepping up to sponsor the Dessert Reception, which has carried the company name for many years. This combined event will maximize the opportunity for guests to network in a casual, fun setting.
The League's 2008 Convention will end on a high note with the Chairman's Awards Banquet, a ticketed event whose cost to attendees is held down thanks to our sponsors CUNA Mutual Group and Servicecorp. Guests always enjoy the dinner, music and entertainment at this event where we honor Indiana credit unions' best and brightest.
