About the SUCCESS Program

The Small Credit Union Strategic Support (SUCCESS) program was developed to assist small credit unions with the special needs they have in order to remain viable financial institutions. This program recognizes the important role small credit unions play in the way the credit union system is viewed by many external entities.

Qualifications: Credit unions that have assets of $16 million or less and are affiliates of the Indiana Credit Union League qualify for inclusion in the SUCCESS program.

Benefits: Among the benefits of the SUCCESS program are

  • League-sponsored seminars each year designed especially for small credit unions budgeted to break even.
  • Low-cost strategic planning sessions.
  • Attendance at all League-sponsored education seminars and conferences at a 30% to 50% discount on registration fees.
  • League-sponsored regional networks for managers of small credit unions.
  • Jointly-sponsored League/NCUA seminars targeted to this group.
  • Establishment of a mentoring database.
  • An equipment clearinghouse to match small credit unions with larger ones that have surplus equipment (computers, furniture, coin counters, etc.).
