The Indiana Credit Union Foundation is pleased to have established this scholarship
to honor and recognize the first Chairman of the Foundation Board. In addition
to her work with the Foundation, Judy was a past Chairman of the League Board
and was President/CEO of Bar-cons FCU at the time of her death.
During her career, Judy earned the designation of Credit Union Development
Educator. She was especially interested in credit union development and helping
smaller size credit unions. Our hope is that this memorial scholarship will keep
Judy's commitment to credit union development alive while fostering the personal
and professional development of an Indiana credit union leader each year.
The amount of the scholarship has been set at $1,000 and it is awarded
annually for use at the ICUL Managers Conference. The amount of this
scholarship should cover all costs associated with the event including
registration, transportation, lodging and meals. The dates for the 2012
Managers Conference is August 21-24, 2012.
Only one scholarship will be awarded annually. Eligibility is as follows:
- The recipient must be a Manager/CEO of an Indiana credit union that
qualifies for the League's SUCCESS program.
- At the time of the application, the recipient's credit union must have an
asset size of $16 million or less.
- The scholarship will be awarded to an eligible Manager/CEO registered for
the Managers Conference at the early bird registration deadline as stated in
the conference brochure.
- The recipient will be selected by the Scholarship Review Committee,
subject to review by the entire Foundation Board of Directors.
