Indiana credit unions recognized for marketing excellence

Indianapolis -- Credit union membership in Indiana is on the rise this year, and it's a likely result of the progressive, creative, message-based advertising created by the marketers in this state. At a special reception during the Indiana Credit Union League's Convention and Annual Meeting, Sept. 19, the annual Major League Awards were given, recognizing, excellent credit union marketing projects in eight categories.

A panel of marketers representing the credit union industry and the Indianapolis communications community judged the entries. "We're glad we can give our credit unions feedback from experts who are familiar with credit unions as well as those who are marketing experts in other fields, said Kay Neidlinger, ICUL director of public relations and organizer of the awards program. "We have some very talented credit union marketers in Indiana and I'm pleased to share their work with judges in our state and elsewhere."
