Jack Sheets receives Professional Achievement Award

Jack Sheets, president of Elkhart County Farm Bureau CU has received the Professional Achievement Award from the Indiana Credit Union League. The award recognizes a credit union professional that has made a difference to the credit union movement in the state of Indiana.

Sheets has been devoted to the credit union movement for nearly 30 years hand has been president of Elkhart County Farm Bureau CU for 15 of those years. He has been the state liaison to the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) and last year was named as Indiana's trustee to the Credit Union Legislative Action Council. He is also a member of the Indiana Credit Union League's Governmental Affaires Committee and a board member of the Cooperative Financial Association. Last year, the Goshen Rotary Club named him Rotarian of the Year.

The award presentation was part of the Indiana Credit Union League's annual meeting and convention, which was held in Indianapolis September 19-21.
