Ingraham is first-ever recipient of Mid-States Chairman's Award Presentation at Indiana Credit Union League Awards Luncheon

Indianapolis -- Bruce Ingraham, President and CEO of Beacon Credit Union has been named as the 2002 recipient of the Mid-States Chairman's Award. Presented jointly by Mid-States' Chairman William Connors and Vice Chair, Barbara Berghoff, this award recognizes an individual who best demonstrates a high level of integrity, leadership, flexibility and excellence.

Ingraham is the first-ever recipient of the award in Indiana. He has served as president of Beacon Credit Union (formerly Wabash County Farm Bureau Credit Union) since 1980. Of his 22 years as president, Ingraham has taken on a leadership role and provided support not only to the credit union industry on both local and national levels, but in the civic arena as well: Director, Excess Share Insurance Corporation, Dublin, Ohio; Treasurer, Cooperative Financial Association, Inc.; Director, White's Residential and Family Services, Inc., Wabash, Ind.; Board Member, Honeywell Foundation, Wabash; Treasurer, Wabash County 4-H Fair Board; and Member/Past President, Kiwanis Club.

The award was presented to Ingraham at the Indiana Credit Union League's annual Chairman's Awards Luncheon at the Indianapolis Convention Center and RCA Dome on Sept. 20.
