LEAGUE ANNOUNCES NEW VENUE TO SHOWCASE CREDIT UNIONS' MARKETING EXCELLENCE

Indianapolis - The Indiana Credit Union League has announced a new
event to take place at its annual convention that will showcase successful
marketing projects carried out by affiliated credit unions across the state.
The Affiliate Marketing Showcase will be on display in the exhibit hall
during the ICUL/Servicecorp's 69th Annual Meeting and Convention,
Sept. 18-20 at the Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. These marketing
projects will not be judged; rather, all marketing projects submitted to the
League by Friday, August 15 will be displayed to convention attendees.
"We're glad we can give maximum exposure to our credit unions that have
undertaken outstanding marketing projects," said Kay Neidlinger, ICUL vice
president - communications and organizer of the showcase. "We have some
very talented credit union marketers in Indiana and I'm pleased to put their
work on display in such a high-traffic area during our annual convention. This
means that vendors and other credit unions from Indiana and other parts of the
country will be able to see the kind of creative effort these credit unions have
displayed."
Credit union marketers at affiliated credit unions are encouraged to submit
examples of: annual reports, sales or promotional literature, print ads, special
events (membership drives, member appreciation days, etc.), marketing campaigns,
Web site design, radio or television spots, and any other project that
exemplifies the credit union difference. Along with samples or photos of the
finished product, please provide a brief summary of your goals and objectives
for the project, and how you accomplished these goals. This may include action
steps, a timetable, budget and/or other limitations you encountered. Also
include a short description of the results that your project achieved.
Send your project, in a folder or three-ring binder, to the Public Relations
Department at 8440 Allison Pointe Blvd., Suite 400, Indianapolis, IN 46250. The
PR Department should receive your materials no later than Monday, Aug. 4. If you
