Senator Bayh visits Indiana credit union leaders on International Credit

INDIANAPOLIS-- At the invitation of the Indiana Credit
Union League, Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) visited with Indiana credit union leaders
today at the Farm Bureau Building in downtown Indianapolis which houses Hoosier
Farm Bureau CU.
At the meeting, Senator Bayh remarked on the important role
that credit unions play in the financial services marketplace. He told the group
that it is a privilege to serve Hoosiers in the U.S. Senate and reiterated his
support for credit unions. Sen. Bayh serves on the Senate Banking Committee and
Financial Institutions Subcommittee.
Following the meeting, Senator Bayh toured the $9.5 million
credit union with its CEO Jennifer Bracken.
“It was a great way to celebrate International Credit Union
Day,” said League President John McKenzie. “We appreciate Senator Bayh being
such a strong supporter of credit unions and his leadership for our state and
nation.”
