Two directors re-elected to Indiana Credit Union Foundation board

INDIANAPOLIS – Two directors of the Indiana Credit Union Foundation have been re-elected to at-large seats on the board. They are Barbara Berghoff of Professional FCU in Fort Wayne and Ron Budzinski of La-Porter FCU in Michigan City. Each will serve a three-year term. Directors of the Foundation are elected by the Indiana Credit Union League Board. Both Berghoff and Budzinski are charter members of the Foundation Board, which was formed in 2002. Budzinski is presently Chairman of the Foundation Board.

The Indiana Credit Union Foundation is committed to utilizing its resources for the betterment of credit unions through disaster recovery, education, community outreach and ongoing credit union development programs. Seven directors representing credit unions from throughout Indiana manage this organization, which was formed with support from the League. Donations are coming in from numerous sources. The Foundation has received more than $130,000 to date and has awarded more than $30,000 in scholarships and $10,000 in grants.

Three Foundation board members also serve as directors of the Indiana Credit Union League. They are League Chairman Angela Dufour, League Treasurer Sandy Heller and League Director Lamoura Munse.
