unions, credit union service organizations and vendors have donated these items.
Proceeds benefit Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

This is the third year for the online auction, the idea for which originated
from Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union (PEFCU) a few years ago. The League
is operating the event this year with help from PEFCU and other credit unions
that serve on an advisory board.
"Riley is the premiere children’s hospital in our state," explains League
President John McKenzie. "And since there is such a solid partnership between
the hospital and Indiana’s credit unions, we’re proud to have an event that can
make that relationship even stronger."
Here are just a few highlights from the auction list:
- Golf at Brickyard Crossing in Indianapolis and at other courses around the
state
- Apple iPod, PlayStation, MP3 players and many other electronic items
- Tickets to the Indianapolis 500, and other sports
- Tickets to see the Dave Matthews Band at Verizon Music Center
- Pearl and diamond earrings, handmade crystal earrings and other jewelry
- Autographed collectibles from sports and entertainment notables including
Willie Mays, Dan Marino, Jack Nicholson, Kevin Costner, Bruce Willis, Arnold
Schwarzenegger and others
…there are too many wonderful items to list here!
This auction is one of several projects taken on by Indiana’s credit unions
to raise money for Riley Hospital. Last year, more than $90,000 was donated to
the hospital by credit unions around the state.
