Roger Sepanski inducted into Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame
September 8, 2005
INDIANAPOLIS—Roger Sepanski of Bloomington, Ind., is a new inductee to the
Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame recognizes credit union
leaders who have given outstanding long-term service to the Indiana credit union
movement. He is the first from Indiana University Employees Federal Credit Union
(IU Credit Union) to have been
inducted into this prestigious group since the Hall of Fame was established in
1989.
Sepanski, who retired as President and CEO of the IU Credit Union in December
2004, has served the credit union movement in various capacities for 18 years,
joining the IU Credit Union in 1986. He is a past chairman of the Indiana Credit
Union League and a past chairman of the League’s Governmental Affairs Committee,
contributing to the strong relationship Indiana’s credit unions have with their
legislators at both the state and national levels. Sepanski has also held
officer positions in the Hoosier Chapter of the Credit Union Executives Society
and he has served the Bloomington community through his association with Rotary
International, the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington and the Bloomington
Economic Development Corporation as well as through his church community.
Sepanski’s induction was made on August 25 at the Indiana Memorial Union on
the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, Ind., during the Indiana Credit
Union League’s Managers Conference. This conference is an annual gathering of
credit union leaders from throughout the state of Indiana.
