Gary Irvin inducted into Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame has a new member.
Gary Irvin of FORUM Credit Union (Fishers, Ind.) was inducted on Oct. 8. He
joins 60 other individuals who have also received this honor. Irvin, who joined
the staff in 1977 when it was called Indiana Telco Federal Credit Union, has
been instrumental in the credit union’s success over the years as it has grown
in size and in product offerings. In addition to his leadership at FORUM CU,
Irvin is chairman of the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) and is on the
Research Council at the Filene Research Institute. Locally, he is a long-time
member and past chairman of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce, a director for the
Boy Scouts of America, a member of Fishers Rotary and a past chairman of the
Better Business Bureau of Central Indiana
The induction was made during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet as part of the
League’s Annual Convention. The Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame recognizes
credit union leaders who have given outstanding long-term service to the Indiana
credit union movement.
