Indianapolis credit union leader Ron Collier receives Professional
Achievement Award

INDIANAPOLIS---Ron Collier, CEO of Indiana Members Credit Union in
Indianapolis, was presented with the 2005 Professional Achievement Award by the
Indiana Credit Union League. The presentation was during the trade association’s
annual meeting and convention Oct. 8.
Collier has been with the credit union for 20 years and in the top leadership
position since 2002. He has been instrumental to the success of several key
initiatives at Indiana Members Credit Union during his tenure including new
products, services and office locations. Collier is a past board member of the
Indiana Credit Union League and remains active in governmental affairs. He is a
past national director for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and has
served on the National Youth Involvement Board.
In addition to his work at Indiana Members CU, he is an active member of the
board of directors of the St. Francis Hospital Foundation and the Indiana
Make-A-Wish Foundation. He has been a football referee for the Indiana High
School Athletic Association (IHSAA), President of the New Palestine High School
Baseball Backers and has coached travel baseball for many years.
The Professional Achievement Award recipient is chosen each year from
nominees around the state. Individuals are nominated for their professional
accomplishments, their commitment to the credit union movement and the
contributions they make to their credit union and community.
