“Outgoing chairman Ron Budzinski of La-Porter FCU has positioned the Foundation well,” said Munse. “With his guidance over the last two years, the Foundation has grown and has been part of many rewarding initiatives.”  Budzinski continues on the board along with Karla Salisbury of KEMBA CU and Donna Tichenor of Evansville FCU.

During the Foundation’s regular board meeting, League President John McKenzie complimented the organization on a successful year, emphasizing that it is on pace to add more than $100,000 to its general fund, in addition to Indiana credit unions and individuals contributing  more than $74,000 to disaster relief efforts through the Foundation during 2005.

The Indiana Credit Union Foundation is a charitable arm of the Indiana Credit Union League, using contributions from individuals, credit unions and other organizations to fund projects, which benefit Hoosier credit unions. These include scholarships and grants, credit union development and other programs as approved by its board of directors including financial literacy, community education programs and disaster relief.
