Elkhart credit union CEO joins League Board

INDIANAPOLIS—Ron Mazur, CEO of Chiphone Federal Credit Union in Elkhart, has been elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Indiana Credit Union League. He will represent credit unions in northern Indiana. Mazur has been in the credit union industry for more than 33 years, and has been at the helm of Chiphone FCU since 1982. He is a 1979 graduate of CUNA Management School.

Mazur is also on the board of Credit Union Centers of Indiana, which oversees shared branching statewide. He has been active in financial services and community organizations throughout his career including Consumer Credit Counseling of Lake & Elkhart Counties; the National Foundation of Consumer Credit in Washington, D.C.; The ELCO Chapter of Credit Unions and the Elkhart County Red Cross.
