Ron Budzinski of La-Porter FCU receives Professional Achievement Award

INDIANAPOLIS— Ron Budzinski, President of La-Porter FCU in Michigan City, was presented with the 2006 Professional Achievement Award by the Indiana Credit Union League. The presentation was during the trade association’s annual meeting and convention September 23.

Budzinski has worked with credit unions in northwestern Indiana since the late 1970s. He has been President of La-Porter FCU since 1985. He is a past board chairman of the Indiana Credit Union League and the Indiana Credit Union Foundation. He is also active in the Dunes Chapter of Credit Unions, where he is a past board member. Budzinski was inducted into the Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame in 2000.

The Professional Achievement Award recipient is chosen each year from nominees around the state. Individuals are nominated for their professional accomplishments, their commitment to the credit union movement and the contributions they make to their credit union and community.
