Indianapolis credit union volunteer receives achievement award

INDIANAPOLIS—
Gene Wessel, Vice Chairman of the Board at Central Federal Credit Union was
presented with a 2006 Volunteer Achievement Award by the Indiana Credit Union
League. The presentation was made during the trade association’s annual meeting
and convention Sept. 23.
In addition to his work at Central Federal Credit Union since 1999, he was a
volunteer at Harvester Federal Credit Union for 28 years, serving a number of
roles including holding the offices of Secretary, Treasurer and Security
Officer. He is also an active volunteer for the Dyslexia Institute, the Scottish
Rite and Masons.
The Volunteer Achievement Award recognizes credit union volunteers who have
given of themselves to promote the credit union ideal and to better the credit
union movement in Indiana.
