Indiana League and Servicecorp provide service during winter storm despite
office closing
February 14, 2007
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Credit Union League and Servicecorp offices were
closed on Feb. 13 because of severe weather conditions. However, affiliates were
still able to contact designated management staff and other employees with
inquiries and for support services. Servicecorp’s Credit Union Card Center was
operational to provide the necessary support services from remote locations.
League President John McKenzie sent an e-mail to affiliated managers and CEOs on
Feb. 12, sharing contact information for their use in continuing to conduct
business if it was not possible for the League to be open during normal business
hours and/or to be fully staffed. The office was re-opened on Feb. 14.
“In the interest of employee safety, our office was closed as a particularly
severe winter storm came through Indiana,” McKenzie explained. “Despite this,
technology allowed us to continue to provide service to our affiliates and to
clients of Servicecorp’s Credit Union Card Center from off-site locations.”
