Lisa Halboob of ITT Employees (Fort Wayne Division) FCU Receives inaugural
Emerging Leadership Award

INDIANAPOLIS— Lisa Halboob of ITT Employees (Fort Wayne Division) FCU is an
inaugural recipient of the Indiana Credit Union League’s Emerging Leadership
Award.
Currently a branch manager, Halboob has worked in a management role at the
credit union for the past three years, and has 17 years of varied experience
there which includes work in the marketing department and as a loan officer,
member services representative, certified IRA specialist, student loan
coordinator and charities coordinator.
“What we do for members is more than just a job,” Halboob explained, “It’s a
responsibility that we love.” She is currently taking classes to become a
Certified Financial Planner and is very involved in her credit union’s efforts
to design and present education sessions for members so they can better manage
their finances.
This is the first year for the Indiana Credit Union League to present the
Emerging Leadership Award. It was developed in order to recognize the next
generation of credit union leaders in Indiana for their accomplishments and for
their potential to be an Indiana credit union leader in the future. Halboob was
honored Sept. 15 during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet, a special event during
the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.
