Linstromberg’s credit union career has spanned 31 years—29 of which he spent as president of DeKalb Financial Credit Union, which celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Linstromberg was also chairman of the board at INDICORP, a corporate credit union, in 1998. He is a longtime member of the Indiana Credit Union League’s Governmental Affairs Committee and has traveled to Washington, D.C. on behalf of credit unions many times over the years.

“It is an honor to be selected to the Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame,” said Linstromberg. “I owe this honor to the many credit union people both in our credit union and at other credit unions who have advised me.”

“Ron’s career achievements and leadership have made a tremendous difference for members at DeKalb Financial Credit Union and for credit unions across Indiana,” said Indiana Credit Union League President John McKenzie. League Chairman Jenny Budreau of FORUM Credit Union added, “His accomplishments and contributions personify what the Hall of Fame is all about.”

Linstromberg was inducted during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet, a special event during the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.
