Doug True of FORUM CU Receives inaugural Emerging Leadership Award

INDIANAPOLIS— Doug True of FORUM CU has been selected to receive the Indiana Credit Union League’s Emerging Leadership Award.

Currently SVP of technology at FORUM CU and president of FORUM Solutions, True has worked in a management role at the credit union for the past 19 years, performing in a variety of roles including lending, operations, technology and branch management. He is a founder of FORUM Solutions, an organization that partners with credit unions across the country to build innovative solutions that resolve lending and technology pains.

“In the future of the credit union movement, I see opportunity,” said True. “There are emerging environmental, technological and social trends that I believe are complimentary to credit unions and can be used to help credit unions carve out productive niches in today’s hyper-competitive world for financial services.”

This is the first year for the Indiana Credit Union League to present the Emerging Leadership Award. It was developed in order to recognize the next generation of credit union leaders in Indiana for their accomplishments and for their potential to be an Indiana credit union leader in the future. True was honored Sept. 15 during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet, a special event during the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.
