About the Legislative Affairs Forum
As a result of the 2012 elections, the political landscape in Indiana has undergone significant changes.  2013 is shaping up to include momentous debates over tax and entitlement reform as well as continuing efforts to encourage economic growth.  As the year begins, the League's annual Legislative Affairs Forum provides you with the perfect opportunity to hear first-hand what is happening at the Statehouse and in Congress.  Following the Forum is our annual reception for state legislators that gives credit union leaders the chance to personally interact with their state representatives and senators.  The reception will be very important this year as we work to build relationships with the 29 newly-elected legislators joining the Indiana General Assembly in 2013.
Educational Investment
$120 per person (includes both Forum and reception). $60 to attend Forum or reception. Small credit union discount does not apply.
The registration deadline is February 1, 2013.
About the Speakers
Returning this year is the cast of “Indiana Week in Review” to be a lively part of the League’s annual Legislative Affairs Forum. The popular TV political show pits Democrat Ann Delaney against Republican Mike McDaniels, with three newsmen (Jim Shella of WISH-TV, Jon Schwantes of the PBS show Indiana Lawmakers, and John Ketzenberger of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute) adding their comments and opinions.
Who Should Attend
Anyone, including management, staff and volunteers, who is interested in political and legislative issues and their impact on credit unions should attend the Forum.
