Employers currently offering health coverage face potential changes, additions, new responsibilities and new rules under the Affordable Care Act. Employers will need to act now in order to be in a position to comply with these new rules in 2014. This seminar will cover:

Speaker Bios
kristen-gentry-bio-3.jpgKristen Gentry is a partner at Krieg Devault Law Firm. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of health law and health and welfare employee benefits. In health care, Ms. Gentry represents a variety of health care providers and governmental entities, in areas including Medicare and Medicaid program reimbursement, HIPAA Privacy and Security compliance, STARK and Anti-Kickback compliance, contracting, 340B drug pricing, and various other regulatory issues.
In the employee benefits area, Ms. Gentry concentrates her practice on health and welfare benefit plan issues and represents employers in all aspects of regulatory compliance, including HIPAA nondiscrimination, privacy and security rules; COBRA continuation coverage rules; ERISA mandates; Medicare Secondary Payer requirements; nondiscrimination rules; Code Section 125 plans; health reimbursement accounts and health savings accounts.
ChuckGillespie-web2.jpgChuck Gillespie is Executive Director of the Wellness Council of Indiana, in cooperation with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.  He has been in this position since January 2011. With over 20 years of experience working in all facets of business, he has seen firsthand the importance of a healthy workplace culture. He is a former human resources manager for a power utility and director of human resources for a transportation corporation. In those positions, he led the workplace wellness efforts that resulted in substantial cost savings to the company.
Chuck has also held positions in finance and operations and has owned and operated a consulting firm focused on human resources management, leveraging technology and understanding behavioral economics. He has spent time in the classroom teaching for Purdue University, IUPUI and Indiana Wesleyan University.
Hadden-web2.jpgJeff Hadden is a principal partner in LHD Benefit Advisors. He works primarily with large and medium size employers and has particular expertise in the areas of managed care network evaluation, disease management, and utilization management. Prior to becoming a principal of LHD Benefit Advisors, Jeff served as the head of the employee benefit practice at William M. Mercer, Incorporated in Indianapolis. Earlier in his career, Jeff served in the marketing department on The Travelers and as the Director of Marketing for Prudential Health Plans in Indiana and Southwest Ohio.
Jeff has extensive experience in a variety of projects with large and mid-sized employers that includes benefit plan strategy development, insurance carrier and plan administrator evaluation, vendor and managed care plan renewal negotiations, managed care network evaluation, health plan utilization analysis, flexible benefit plan design and administration, health plan benefit design issues influencing utilization patterns, mergers and acquisition transitions and employee benefit communications.
