News Release: 500+ attend Indiana League Convention to Celebrate 100th Anniversary, Board Officers Named for 2025-2026

As part of the 100th anniversary celebration, the League threw back to 1925—the year it began. The closing Convention event featured a Roaring 20s theme. Pictured here are some members of the Indiana League board and leadership, some members of the Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame, and representatives of Energy Plus CU, which also celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. 

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Credit Union League held its statewide Convention Oct. 1-3 at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis and celebrated its 100th year. There were more than 500 in attendance from credit unions representing 83 percent of Indiana’s 2.8 million credit union members.

Officers were elected at the League’s reorganizational meeting on Oct. 3. They are:

Chairman: Bryan Price, Indiana University CU, Bloomington
Vice Chair: Cari Palmer, Energy Plus CU, Indianapolis
Board Secretary: Andy Mattingly, FORUM CU, Fishers
Treasurer: Brett Rinker, Thrive FCU, Muncie

The Convention included several elements to celebrate the League’s founding on October 9, 1925. One highlight was a special video that was produced and shared by the League. It can be viewed here

“We can celebrate this milestone because of the hard work of so many Indiana credit union officials, management, and staff over the decades,” said League President John McKenzie. “The people over profits approach has been a timeless way to distinguish credit unions in the marketplace.”

The Indiana Credit Union League is the statewide trade association for credit unions in Indiana. Those credit unions serve more than 2.8 million Hoosiers
