News Release: Everwise CU’s Amy Wells receives Emerging Leadership Award

INDIANAPOLIS – Amy Wells of Everwise Credit Union received the 2025 Emerging Leadership Award from the Indiana Credit Union League on October 3 during the Credit Union Awards Celebration, a special event during the League’s annual convention.

Wells, an Area Manager, has held various roles at the credit union, including teller, teller supervisor, branch manager, and Central Indiana Recruiting & Training Specialist. She oversees five locations in central Indiana, as well as the Retail Management Training Team and the Virtual Member Services department.

She serves on several cross-functional teams that analyze feedback from mobile, online, and social channels to develop and implement solutions. Her work has led to meaningful improvements, addressing issues quickly and driving lasting enhancements in member satisfaction.

She is a 2023 recipient of Everwise Credit Union’s David R. Sage Exemplary Leadership and Service Award, which honors employees who demonstrate outstanding service and leadership. She is an alumna of the Indiana Credit Union League’s ignite program. Outside the credit union, Wells is the Chair of the philanthropic group Putnam County 100 Women Who Care and the Chair of Playworks Indiana, which helps schools and out-of-school programs create healthy play environments for children.

The Indiana Credit Union League is the statewide trade association for credit unions in Indiana. Those credit unions serve more than 2.8 million Hoosiers.
