INDIANAPOLIS – Brandon Demitruk of Teachers CU is a recipient of the 2022 Emerging Leadership Award from the Indiana Credit Union League.

Demitruk, who is Vice President of Finance, has been with TCU since 2004, starting as an accounting supervisor. He has earned the credit union’s prestigious David Sage Award for Leadership Excellence; he has been named as one of Michiana’s 40 under 40; and he is a graduate of South Bend/Mishawaka Leadership Class 30 and of the national Cardwell 306/2 Group for Credit Union professionals. He also represented Indiana when he was selected to “crash the GAC,” attending a major national governmental affairs event with a group of other young leaders.

The Emerging Leadership Award was developed in order to recognize the next generation of credit union leaders in Indiana for their accomplishments and for their potential to be an Indiana credit union leader in the future. Demitruk was recognized on October 14, during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet, a special event during the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.
