As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch. You will lead a team of professionals and ensure exceptional member service, foster a positive work environment, and drive performance to achieve branch goals. The ideal candidate should be a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a combination of operational, leadership, sales, and financial skills, capable of driving success in branch and banking operations.



Job Type:
 Full-Time

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Schedule: Banking Hours Monday-Friday, some Saturdays

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate branch staff to achieve exceptional member service and individual/team goals. 
  • Conduct performance evaluations and develop each employee to their highest potential by identifying areas for improvement and appropriately coaching, training, or correcting performance.
  • Find opportunities to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. 
  •  Resolve any member complaints or concerns in a way that demonstrates member satisfaction and work towards our mission to be trusted financial advisors. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract new members and grow existing member relationships.
  • Find opportunities to improve overall member experience. 
  • Be an active contributor in our community. 
  • Oversee all branch operations including cash management, transaction processing, and compliance with all internal and regulatory policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of and promote current credit union products and services to meet member needs and achieve branch sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to implement marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Interview member loan applicants and make recommendations based on their needs.
  • Collaborate with our internal lending teams to ensure proper member service and assistance.  

Required Skills:

  • Experience and knowledge with banking or finance highly preferred. 
  • Experience with direct management and leadership development within a team environment. 
  • Being member focused which requires customer service, financial, and sales experience. 
  • Ability to lead and communicate effectively, multitask, and solve problems with sound reasoning. 

Qualifications:

  • Job Level: Mid-High Level
  • Required Experience: 3-5 years of job-related experience.
  • Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of banking or financial institution experience.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
